He was predeceased by: his parents, James Major, Sr. and Velor Brim Major; his siblings, Darryl Majors, Sr., Luther Williams Major and Brenda Ann Johnson; and his close friend Dale Fentress.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Majors; his children, James L. Major, Javorise T. Major and Terrance D. Young; his siblings, Linda Shingles (Bobby), Patricia Hester, Loyd Brim (Lois), Arlanda Brim (Teresa), Shanta Williams (David), Michelle Stevenson (Randy) and Jacqueline Walker (Ken); and his niece Zamarrie Hall. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edgefield Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
