She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Bussell and Grace Jackson Bussell; and her siblings, James Cox and Tishie Belle Bussell. She is survived by : her children, Benji Bussell (Barbara) of Hopkinsville and Kwan Bussell of Louisville, Kentucky; and her siblings, Willie C Bussell of Virginia, David Bussell (Ida) of Virginia and Milton Ray Bussell of Tacoma, Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
