The memory of Janice F. Vinson Burkhart of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymon Vinson and Hazel Booker Vinson; her husband Paul F. Burkhart; her daughter Tracey Jeanette Pugh; and her siblings, Jerry Vinson and Jewel Tooley.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Pugh (Deanna Jackson) of Hopkinsville and Heather Michelle Pugh Thornell (Mick) of Elkton, KY; her sisters, Kathleen Oliver of Princeton, KY and Jane Dorroh (Jim) of Princeton, KY; and her grandchildren, Barry Wayne Stewart, William Ellis Stewart, Jr., Michaela Grace Stewart and Harley Paige Pugh. She is also survived by her eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home (700 Country Club Ln, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Rowland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
