Kimberly Sholar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kimberly Sholar (Hopkinsville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershell "Hank" Ortt and Martha "Nell" Hunter Ortt; and her grandson Drake Lee Hofmeister. She is survived by: her husband Steven Sholar of LaGrange, KY; her daughters, Steffany Sholar Hofmeister of LaGrange, KY and Stacey Kinteh (Fabala) of Louisville, KY; and her grandchildren, Paxton Hofmeister, Maddox Hofmeister, Brooks Hofmeister, Korina Kinteh, Omar Kinteh and Khalil Kinteh.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home (700 Country Club Ln, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Ronald McDonald House or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
