He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelia "Pie" Turnley, and George Turnley, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary E. Turnley Cruite, George Turnley, Jr., Macie Turnley Henry, Robert M. Turnley and Hugh Benny Turnley.
He is survived by : his wife Diane Rowell Turnley; his children, Anthony Brown, Kathleen Mackey (Morris), Tiffani Adams (Jay) and Lamar Rowell (Leona); his siblings, Mattie Slappy, Connie McGee and Charles Turnley (Marilyn); and his mother-in-law Frankie Bonner. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
