He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Marie Kirkman Stagner; his wife Sheila Phipps Stagner of Hopkinsville; his father Henry Lawrence Stagner (Sue) of Honey Grove; his children, Jason Steven Stagner (Melissa) of Hopkinsville, Mandy Stagner Guffey (Russ) of Hopkinsville and Lindsay Stagner Bardwell (Bradley) of Hopkinsville; his brother Bruce Stagner (Kelly) of Hopkinsville; his stepbrother Kevin Delawson (Jenny) of Honey Grove; his sisters, Debbie Hammond of Collierville, TN and Hope Campbell (Michael) of Hopkinsville; and his grandchildren, Chaney, Laiken, Adler, Jase, Carter, Brooks, Beau and Brady. He was also cherished by friends, and co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Wounded Warriors, or Grace and Mercy.
