With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Anne Foster Sunderland of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Denton Foster and Ouida Rorie Foster; and her son Lee Veazey. She is survived by: her husband Steven Sunderland of Hopkinsville; her son Grant Veazey (Angela) of Watersound, Florida; her brother Mike Foster (Marilyn) of Hopkinsville; her family, Erin Ware (Troy), Zac Sunderland (Taylor), Josh Sunderland (Courtney), Ben Sunderland (Allyssa) and Tori Bennett (Brock); her grandchildren, Tyler, Davis, Hudson, Rachel, Eli, Zeke, Micah, Isaac, Etta and Rhema; and her great grandchild Malcolm.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Christian Church (2601 S Walnut St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions to be made in Patricia's honor to the Elizabeth Stone Scholarship Fund at First Christian Church.
