In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Wileman and Marlene Wileman; and her daughter Johanna Marie Haxton. She is survived by: her children, David Haxton (Debbie) of Murfreesboro, TN and Sherry Austin of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Ashley Tatum (Jonathan) and Seth Haxton; her great grandchildren, Aubree-Anna Durham, Blake Tatum and Kaylinn Tatum; and her pets, Shadow and Callie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville (709 Country Club Ln, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
