We bid farewell to Troy Hayden Guier of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Troy Hayden touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Isom and Lucy Wilmoth Francis Guier; his grandson John O'Brien; his daughter-in-law Joy Diane King Guier; and his siblings, Richard, Leslie Guier (Floyd Estel Guier), Jean Ferguson, Geogia Ernestine Guier, Floella "Flo" Carr and Mary Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys "Sue" Cravens Guier of Hopkinsville; his children, Monty Guier of Pembroke, Marty Guier (Emily) of Robards, KY and Peggy Guier of Frankfort, KY; his sister Virginia Helen "Jo" Underwood of Hopkinsville; and his grandchildren, Tabetha Guier, Elizabeth Guier and James Guier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home (700 Country Club Ln, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Green Hill Memorial Gardens (5325 Cadiz Rd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
