It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vira Ann Caldwell of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Vira Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vira Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Caldwell and Roberta Caldwell; and her brothers, Peter Caldwell, Warren Caldwell and Gregory Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Octavia Williams (Frank), Kahdijah Caldwell and Dayron Caldwell; and her brother Wayne Caldwell (Cynthia). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gamble Funeral Home (1311 Liberty St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
