He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward Evitts and Mae Simpson; and his brother John Simpson. He is survived by: his sons, Tayler Evitts of Hopkinsville and Gavin Calvin of Hopkinsville; and his brothers, Thomas Evitts of Arizona and Jeff Simpson of Louisville.
