She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Phelps and Avia Smith Phelps; her son Bobby Joe Embry; and her siblings, Chester Phelps, Elbert Phelps, Beulah Mae Givens, Ira Glen Phelps, James Oddist Phelps, Betty Jean White, Mary Ruth Walls and Vernia Ray Phelps.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Embry (Nancy), Judy Smith, Matthew Embry (Gayle) and Jeffrey Luke Embry; and her grandchildren, Tara Embry, Melissa McIntyre (Andy), Misty Anania (Alfiero), Duke Cotton (Holly) and Ira Embry. She is also survived by several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the William L. Danks Funeral Home (222 N Lafayette St, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
