He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Melloan and Birdie Melloan; his siblings, Mabel Melloan, Brenda Melloan, Maxine Reynolds (Garland), Dale Melloan (Becky), Jerry Melloan (Paulette) and Danny Melloan (Marilyn); his wife Linda Cox Melloan; and his stepson David Cox (Linda).
He is survived by: his children, Ricky T. Melloan (Donna) and Cheryl Carr (Brown); and his stepdaughters, Sherry Meador (Lynn) and Crystal Peterie (Bret). He is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; twelve step-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
