He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude McPherson and Jessie Lorelle DeArmond McPherson; and his sisters, Valjean Porter, Sylvia Ferrell and Joy Blaine.
He is survived by: his spouse Owensboro; his daughters, Kema Norlund (Charles) and Keri Griffin (Victor); his granddaughters, Marissa Norlund (Waylon) and Madison McWeeney (Blake); and his siblings, Bobby McPherson (Doris) and Vernita Goodall (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
