It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Laing of Hustonville, Kentucky, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis W. Laing and Donna McNeil Laing; and her sister Ellie Hurley. She is survived by : her sons, Tim Smith (Margo) of Hustonville and Bill Smith (Kelly Champion-Smith); her grandchildren, Joe Spara (Lauren), Jessica Smith-Khatri (Ishaan), Marcus Ellis, Cameron Smith, Zachary Smith (Brittany) and Logan Smith; and her great grandchild Anthony Ellis.
