He is survived by: his mother Margaret Franklin Coontz of Moreland; his wife Janice Coontz; his daughters, Rhonda Davis (Derrick Cooley) of Hustonville and Amanda Hasty (Eddie) of Stanford; his brothers, Dannie Coontz of Moreland and Charles Byrd (Patsy); and his grandchildren, Dakota Coontz, Harley Davis, Alexus Leanna and Mia Cooley. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
