He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith Phelps of Hustonville, Kentucky; his son Joshua Phelps of Danville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jalen Phelps of Liberty, Jazlyn Mitchell of Perryville and Caroline Harrison of Liberty, Kentucky; his stepfather John Mayabb (Gerri) of Campton, Kentucky; and his brothers, Ronnie Phelps (Tammy) of Harrodsburg and Jonathan Mayabb (Leah) of Campton, Kentucky..
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evans Cemetery.
