He is survived by: his wife Donna Slusher; his children, Nickie Slusher (Poshia), Charlie Gibson (Brooke), Ernest Thomas Slusher, Chrissy Coffey (Chucky), Lauren Buxton (Ashley) and Elizabeth Burke; his siblings, Dwayne Slusher, Jerry Slusher, Geneva Kelly, Carol Carpenter, Norma Jean Morris and Sally Slusher; his stepchildren, Jonathon Gambrel (Paige) and Rebekah Morgan; his brother-in-law Roger Moore; his close friend Gary Maggard; his nephew Dillard Stevens; and his grandchildren, Jayden, Landon, Brian, Victor, Gypsey, Jessica, Dustin, Katlyn, Arabella, Avery, Everly, Presley, Jamison and Ellie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Homes (155 Hickory St, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
