It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Roberts of Hyden, Kentucky, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Smith Roberts; his grandson Matthew; and his siblings, Bobby, Joe Roberts and Bernadine Young.

He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Melton (Darren) of Hyden, KY; his sister Helen Caudill (Jim) of Hyden, KY; his grandchildren, Joseph (Taelor), Jerica and MaKayla; and his great grandchild Kailyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
