With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Smith (Inez, Kentucky), born in Gilbert, West Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oley Cook and Goldie Cook (Davidson); her husband William Smith (Bill); her children, James Smith, Johnny Smith, Bill Smith Jr., Robert Smith, Paul Smith, Margie McKinney, Peggy Williamson, Tammy Slone, Beatrice Fitzpatrick and Opal Mead; and her siblings, Norris Cook, Norwood Cook, Otis Cook and Mavis Blankenship.

She is survived by: her children, Rolfe Faye Smith (Glen) of Vine Grove, KY, David Neil, Jeanie Smith of Inez, Jed Smith (Debbie) of Inez and Linda Cox (Charlie) of Inez, KY; and her sister Jeanie Conley of Oceana, WV. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
