He was predeceased by: his parents, Oris Wayne and Velma Louise Barnhart; his wife Sharon Barnhart; his siblings, Richard Barnhart, Ralph Barnhart and Maxine Alexander; his siblings-in-law, Michael Barnhart Sparks, Tony Milliken and Ann Laurice "Reece" Barnhart; and his nephew Scott Milliken.
He is survived by: his children, Jameye Harbison (Karl Ray III) and Michael P. Barnhart; his grandchildren, Michela Wisehart, Ciera Burnett, Dylan Murphy, Madison Harbison, Paige, Ariel Burnett, Andrew Harbison and Lydia Barnhart; and his siblings, Charles Raymond Barnhart, Sandra Milliken, Brenda Barnhart (Venita Hood) and Gary Barnhart. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
