She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Brooks; and her grandson Cody Carver. She is survived by: her children, James W. Jelf, Jr. (Gloria) and Julie Carver; her grandchild Jami Lomax; and her great grandchildren, Darian Lomax and Jolie Miles.
