He was predeceased by : his parents, W. E. Perkins and Ella Mae Martin Perkins; and his sister Martha Fay Perkins Ray. He is survived by : his children, Melanie Beth Perkins of La Center, Kentucky and Alan Bert Perkins of Huntsville, Alabama. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
