She was predeceased by : her husband Michael Keith Forbes; her parents, Odie Howard and Erma Wells Howard; and her siblings, Mary Ann Howard, Sandy King, Betty Murmann, Ron Howard, Dennis Howard and Bonnie Carpenter.

She is survived by : her children, Steven Michael Forbes (Wendy) of Lawrenceburg and Melissa Kay Case of Lawrenceburg; her grandson Kurtis Forbes; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Elliot and Silas Forbes; her sister-in-law Mary Burke of Ashland; and her niece Eryn Burke of Ashland.
