He was predeceased by: his father Joe Riley; and his brother William Houston Burkhead. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Jean Walls Burkhead of Lawrenceburg; his children, Norris Todd Burkhead of Lawrenceburg, Rex Allen Burkhead (Lisa) of Lawrenceburg and Tami Jeanayne Chapman (Corby) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Aaron Allen Burkhead (Taylor), Dillon Todd Burkhead, Hayden Clay Burkhead (Brittney), Molly Kate Burkhead (Andy Stepp), Lex Riley Burkhead, Skylar Layne Dennis and Carson Dayne Chapman; and his great grandchild Locke Allen Burkhead.
