She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Rebecca Hayden Newton; her husband Charles Barnett VanVactor; her father Joseph Newton; and her siblings, Joseph Robert, John Hayden, Francis Gabriel, Charles William Newton and Martha Ann Beeler.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Thomas (Laura VanVactor), William Gabriel (Emily VanVactor) and Lettisha Marie (Timothy Waters); her brother James Glenn (Marilyn Newton); and her grandchildren, Emily, Sam, Erin, Noah, Zachary, Andrew, Josh, Cody and Holly. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
