She was predeceased by : her parents, George Felton Young and Alice Nora Wright Young; her children, Monica Renee Everheart and Kenneth Gaither; her grandsons, Chad Gaither and Lebron Gaither; and her siblings, George Young, William Young, John Young, Howard Young, Joseph Young, Bobby Young, Louetta Hazelwood, Mary Catherine Friend and Nellie Elizabeth Knox.
She is survived by : her children, Sharon Elaine Gaither of Lebanon, Connie Marie Gaither of Lebanon, Darrell Eugene Gaither (Ronda) of Lebanon and Reginald Demitrious Gaither (Shannon) of Washington, D. C.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
