He was predeceased by : his parents, Orien Roscoe Ballard and Earlean Moore Ballard; his granddaughter Mindy Hopper; and his sibling Milburn Ballard. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Ruth Grayson; his children, Lorrie Hopper (David) of Louisville, KY, Pam Butler of Pleasant View, TN, Vickie Hughes (Scott) of Somerset, KY and James Ballard of Sharon Grove, KY.; his grandchildren, Doug Hopper, Scott Hopper, Bobby Ballard, Jacob Butler, Josh Hughes, Daniel Hughes, Noah Hughes, Hannah Rhodus, Darlene Ballard and Lydia Hughes; and his brother Donald Ballard (Wanda) of Russellville, KY.. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.
