With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammie Lou Myers of Lewisport, Kentucky, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 28, 2023 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sammie Lou Myers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Eli S. Gregory and Louise Cook Gregory; and her son L. Gregory Hayden. She is survived by : her husband Jewell K. Myers; her children, Lee Ann Chappell and John Myers (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Marka Herndon, Andrea Chappell, Ross Chappell, Ellyn Myers and John Carter Myers; her great grandchildren, Clay, Chase, Cade Herndon, Hunter, Ansley, Piper and Marlee Chappell; and her brother Eli Edward Gregory. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
