We bid farewell to William Hardesty Jr. of Lewisport, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 77. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Hardesty Sr. and Teresa Evelyn Gertisen Hardesty; and his sister Carolyn Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Pam Hardesty; his children, Steve Hardesty (Abby) of Hawesville, Heather Hardesty Coffin of Brooklyn, NY and Cara Hardesty Money of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Stephen, Kirsten, Kennedy, Kaili, Uriah and Ivan; and his great grandchild Faye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). The military honors will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the VFW, Post 696.
