He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara McCoy Catron; and his grandparents, Henry Catron, Ruby Spurlock Catron, Troy McCoy and Mary Etta Halsey McCoy.

He is survived by: his father Cecil Catron; his sister DeWanna Catron Barnett (Marcus); and his nephews, Aaron Barnett and Alan Barnett.
