As we bid Carla farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carla is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her parents, Carl Lee Harris (Virginia) and Jean Pettway (Kevin Robinson); her son Malachai Pettway; and her brothers, Deshaun Pettway (Sarah) and Theodore Harris.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church (214 Murray St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
