With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erik John Schomer (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Batavia, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2018 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Edward Schomer; his grandparents, Robert, Helen Schomer, Charles and Joan Crawford; and his uncle William Schomer.

He is survived by : his mother Jacqueline Galligan; his sister Amanda Gibson; his aunts and uncles, Carol Erdman, Diane Schomer, Jill Brosnihan (Dan), Joel (Debbie) and Jay Crawford (Christine); his niece Mariah Carter; his nephews, Darian and Adrian Carter; his cousins, Laura Higgins (Rick), Richard Erdman, George Horvath (Meridith) and Jacob Horvath; and his stepmother Elaine Owen. He is also survived by cousins & friends.
