He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Lou and James "Jim" Pleasants; his sister Laure; his wife Cathy Pleasants; his children, Ryan Pleasants, Carmen Pleasants, Cole Pleasants and Lauren Ashley German (Joey); and his grandchildren, Hadley and Hannah.
