He was predeceased by : his wife Kathleen Buttrey Love; his parents, James Slayden Love, Sr. and Ethel Beulah Brown; and his brother Thomas Brown Love. He is survived by : his children, James Ray Love (Brenda) of Sun City, AZ, Charlene L. Riley (Edward) of Lexington, KY, Lori Kay Love of Lexington, KY and Karen Ann Love of Gallatin, TN; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Homes of KY, The Scottish Rite Language Arts Foundation, or a charity of one's choice.
