She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Allen (Shelton); her son-in-law David Allen; her son John Shelton, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Shelbi Lemieux and Dustin Lemieux.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Lexington, Kentucky, or Tucson, Arizona, in honor of her love for animals.
