We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2024, at the age of 73, Kathryn Elaine Rice McKnight of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Paintsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Kathryn Elaine Rice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kathryn Elaine Rice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edsel Rice and Oralene Faye "Bobbie" Rice; and her brother Danny Rice. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Dane Key (Nicole), Leilani, Isabella, Adeline, Gunnar (Jason) and Evelyn Grace (Dustin); and her great grandchild Drace. She is also survived by grandmother and great-grandmother, doting on her all her children.
