He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Robert Shepard and Frances Shepard; and his sister Alana Shepard. He is survived by: his brother Neil Shepard (Janis); his sons, Mitchell Berkley Shepard (Crystal), Samuel Deems Shepard (Amanda) and Robert Vanarsdale "Van" Shepard (Katie); and his grandchildren, Braxton, Lincoln, Peyton, Rylee, Parker, Emerson and Elaina Shepard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Milward-Southland (391 Southland Dr, Lexington, KY 40513).
