It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell James Day (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Myrtle Adams Mynhier and Jessie James Day; and his sister Laura Lee Day. He is survived by : his wife Peggy Warren Day; his daughters, Dee Dee Douglas and Kimi Wells; his stepdaughters, Donna Sizemore (Stan) of Lexington and Debi Carey (Don) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Patrick, Ben of Louisville, Jasen of Lexington, Jeremiah (Sarah) of Lexington, Susannah of Lexington, Sarah (Chase) of Lexington, Joshua (Kelsey) of Lexington, Micah of Lexington and Kate (Nick) of Lexington. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces.
