He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Albert and Mary Julia Tackett (Ravencraft); his daughter Cynthia Katherine Tackett; and his brother John Wheeler Tackett. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Steven Thomas Tackett (Karen) of Winchester, KY and John Collins Tackett (Ginny) of Pekin, IN; his grandchildren, Christian Thomas Tackett (Cyndie), Abigail Marie Allan (Christopher), Alexandria Tackett Sones (Brandon), Westray Steven Tackett (Jess), Nathan McCutcheon (Kate), Neil McCutcheon and Nick McCutcheon (Stevie); and his great grandchildren, Thomas Bronson Tackett, Sydney Noelle Tackett, Felix Pearl Allan, Bohannon Collins Sones, Gretta, Emma, Ella, Aiden and Micah McCutcheon.
