He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Gowin and Mary Gowin. He is survived by: his brother Jack Gowin of Shelbyville; his niece Mary Coulter (Ray) of Louisville; his nephew Johnnie Gowin (Stanalee) of Shelbyville; his cousins, William R. Murphy (Marcia) of Louisville, Dr. William L. Turner (June) of Louisville and Dr. Anita Gowin of Shelbyville; his great-nephew Jacob Gowin; and his great-nieces, Abbey of Shelbyville and Macey Gowin of Shelbyville.
