She was predeceased by : her husband J. Hulin Mattingly, Sr. of Danville, KY; her parents, Butler Anderson Pearce and Frances Farris Pearce (Fanny); her siblings, Boyd Pearce, Garnett Pearce and Bonnie Pearce Hall; and her stepson J. Hulin Mattingly, Jr. (Joe).

She is survived by : her brother Bruce Pearce (Ruth) of Simpsonville, KY; her brother-in-law Robert Hall, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Ken Pearce (Jane) of Nicholasville, KY, David Pearce (Linda) of Louisville, KY, Joel Pearce (Scottie) of Louisville, KY, Lee Hall (Stephanie) of Lexington, KY and Julia Hall of Lexington, KY; her great-nephews, Pearce Hall and Robert Hall of Lexington, KY; and her stepchildren, Charles R. Mattingly and Joan Mattingly Kamman. She is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren, and 13 step-great grandchildren.
