She was predeceased by : her parents, Ford Wagers and Dora Mae Woodall Wagers; her brothers, Don Wagers and Joe Wagers; and her brother-in-law Moses Hamblin.

She is survived by : her husband Reginald Amaral; her children, Kris Amaral (Victoria) of Virginia and Thomas Amaral (Cyndi) of Brodhead; her siblings, Jerry Wagers (Connie) of London, Kentucky and Evelyn Hamblin of London, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Megan, Leo, Belinha and Kohen; and her cousin Terry Cromer.
