With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Cissell (Loretto, Kentucky), who passed away on April 8, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Bernard Cissell; her grandchildren, Daniel Newton, Amber and Brooke Mattingly; her parents, Charles Phillip and Mary Prudence Mattingly Brussell; and her siblings, Ethel Reynolds, Henrietta Gootee, Kathleen Lindsey, Betty Spalding and Charles Henry "Sonny" Brussell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Newton (Jerry) of Loretto, Zita Vaughn (Larry) of Finley, Annette Newton of Loretto and Bernadette Mattingly (Dave) of Loretto; her grandchildren, Michael Newton, Chuckie Newton, Adam Newton, Laura Vaughn Garrett, Bradley Vaughn and Dakota Mattingly; her brother John Brussell of Louisville; and her brothers-in-law, Leachman Walker of Bardstown and Charles Cissell of Bardstown. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
