She was predeceased by : her husband John Patrick Edelen; her daughters, Sharon Downs Stokes, Donna Costello, Renee and Howard; and her siblings, Viola Smith, Beatrice Knopp, Carl Lyvers, Vernie Lyvers, Fabian Lyvers and Leo Lyvers.

She is survived by : her sons, Chris Edelen (Sue) of Bardstown and Rob Edelen (Kim) of Holy Cross; and her sisters, Bernice Ferriell of Louisville and Joyce Hornback of Lexington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
