He is survived by : his wife Lynn Auxier Courtney; his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Jim Sparks; his siblings, Phyllis Daniel, Sharon Storie (Ted), Barbara Wellman (Jerry), Dean Courtney (Yvonne) and Dan Courtney (Anne); his sister-in-law Augusta Courtney; and his close friend Luther Wellman, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
