He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha E. Buehner Kamer; his daughter Karen A. Kamer; his parents, Albert Kamer and Frances Olliges Kamer; his siblings, Cecilia Kamer, Loretta Lush, Frances Lush, Genevieve Kamer and Raymond Kamer; and his half-sister Evelyn Kamer Kaelin.

He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Kurtz (Gary), Barbara Epley (Greg), Francie Kamer and Ann Kresen (Jay); his grandchildren, Albert Bowman (Devon), Angela Nolan (Jim) and Sarah Kresen; his great grandchildren, AJ, Jaxson, Liam Bowman, Edward, Emmett, Sloane and Elliott Nolan; his siblings, Angela Kamer, Mildred Spalding, Florence Kamer, Robert Kamer (Jeannie) and Carroll Kamer (Rose); and his sister-in-law Edith McClain.
