She was predeceased by: her father Robert P. Darr. She is survived by: her brother Paul Joseph Darr; her mother Marie; her brothers, James, Karl, Charles and Richard; Malaki Shackleford. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great nephew.

Like many other healthcare workers, she returned to work during the COVID-19 pandemic, relieving dietitians on maternity leave.
