He was predeceased by: his son Alfred Alexander; and his brothers, James and Jerome Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Alexander; his children, Gregory Alexander (Alicia), Alvin Alexander (Phyllis) and Angel Allen; and his sisters, Mary A. Hammond and Hattie J. Greer (Bozie). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
