She is survived by : her children, Louis Scherzer (Mabel), Cindy Lausman (Karl), George Scherzer, Jr. (Janet) and Chris Scherzer (Janet); and her siblings, Caroline Embry, Marjorie Bolly (John), Charlotte Stith (Dennis) and Raymond Bishop (Joan). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (4600 Lynnbrook Dr, Louisville, KY 40220). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at the St. Michael Cemetery.
